Create social media highlights with Detail

To get started, you’ll need a recording of your latest podcast episode. Detail is the easiest way to record your video podcast but if you have an existing podcast video you can generate highlights for that too. 

If you’ve recorded your podcast in Detail Studio, just export the video to your Library using the export icon in the top right of the window. 

Recording your podcast in Detail Studio means you’ll be able to take advantage of super powerful features like multi-camera recording and combo scenes to make your content really dynamic.

If you’re using an existing podcast episode, you’ll need to import your video to Detail Studio first, and then hit export to add it to your Library.

If you need vertical video for Instagram Reels, TikTok or Youtube Shorts, just switch to vertical mode in Detail and re-export your podcast. Your highlights will be generated in the same format as your exported video.

Once you’ve exported your video, open the Library, find your export and hit the “Create Highlights” button. 

Your video will be uploaded to the Detail Studio servers to generate your highlights and create a share page. You’ll need to be signed in to a Detail Studio account to upload, so either create one or sign in to your account. Heads up, once it’s uploaded, your video might take a few minutes to process, especially if it’s a long episode.

Once it’s done, you’ll see a collection of AI-generated content underneath your video, including title suggestions, a video description, hashtags and, of course, the highlights. You can grab this content to promote your podcast on social platforms, and even upload your full video directly to Youtube and download subtitles in SRT or VTT format.

Hit “Send to phone” at the top of the page to get a QR code or link to easily download the highlights on your iPhone or iPad.
